Pakistan reports zero Covid deaths for second day straight

Covid-19 positivity ratio falls below 5pc in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The National Institute of Health Pakistan took to Twitter to share the latest numbers for Covid-19 in the country. According to the details, Pakistan reported zero deaths for the second consecutive day in the last 24 hours.

The signs of recovery from Covid look rather encouraging as only 155 people tested positive of the total nearly 23,000 tests conducted. The positivity rate stands at 0.66 per cent, the same it was a day earlier.

Meanwhile, the NIH Pakistan has also announced that 80pc of the eligible population stands fully vaccinated against the Covid-19.
