The classic match-saving effort from the Pakistan cricket team in the Karachi Test has earned them praise from the cricketing fraternity. From Prime Minister Imran Khan to veterans and critics of the game, all applauded the performance of Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, and Abdullah Shafique.
Mr Khan hailed the captain’s innings from Babar and congratulated wicketkeeper batter Rizwan and opening-batter Abdullah on their fighting effort.
Congratulations to Babar Azam for leading the Pak team in a tremendous fightback with a superb captain's inning & world class batting display; & congratulations to the rest of the team too in the way they fought back, especially Rizwan & Shafique.

The trigger moment for Babar Azam. Missed a 200 but saved Pakistan the Test. And this knock will pitch fork him to be counted as one of the modern-day greats #PAKvAUS @babarazam258
