Trailer of first Muslim superhero movie released by Marvel Entertainment

The much-awaited trailer of Ms Marvel has been released by Marvel Entertainment. The series features the first Muslim superhero in the form of a Pakistani-American girl and will release on June 8 at Disney+.

The future is in her hands.

The newly released trailer showcases a 16-year-old girl Kamala Khan (played by Iman Vellani), a fiction and comic fan. The movie is set in Jersey City. The co-director of the film and Oscar-winning director shared her feelings on the trailer release. She said the film would inspire young girls as they can relate with Ms Marvel.

Ms Marvel is directed by Meera Menon, Adil Al Arbi, Bilal Fallah and Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy. Sana Amanat has written the superhero project.

The lead cast includes Anjali Bhimani, Mohan Kapoor, Laurel Marsden, Yasmeen Fletcher, Rish Shah and Zenobia Shroff. Pakistani actors Nimra Bucha and Fawad Khan are also part of the project.
