SHARJAH: The rising star of the Pakistan cricket team Naseem Shah has decided to auction the bat he used to smash back-to-back sixes at Sharjah to win the nail-biter contest against Afghanistan. The amount from the auction would be used for flood relief activities.
The official Instagram handle of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) posted the video of Naseem Shah and Muhammad Hasnain, where they officially announced the auction.
Hasnain said that Naseem played like a tiger and rejuvenated the memory of the innings played by Javed Miandad. The bat belonged to Hasnain, and he decided to gift it to Naseem. The Sultan of Sharjah took the bat and announced to auction it after thanking Hasnain. Naseem said that half of the amount would be donated to flood-affected people in Pakistan.
