ISLAMABAD: According to Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, the audio leaks controversy has been resolved, and no involvement of a hostile intelligence agency has been found. Without providing concrete evidence, he announced the involvement of PM house staff members in the leaking of the audio clips.
The federal minister made the claim while talking to the media after former prime minister Imran Khan said that he would take the leaks matter to the court.
Sanaullah said that they had identified a few staff members of the Prime Minister’s House, and these things were done in exchange for money. The interior minister briefed that a tiny device was used to record the telephonic conversations at the PM’s House. He further said that they could share the investigation findings with the court.
Sanaullah argued that even though there was no harm in publicising the report, the final decision would be made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
