KARACHI: The much-awaited drama Sang-e-Mah will now release on January 8. Popstar Atif Aslam will mark his debut in the drama industry. The first episode will be aired in cinemas.
Sang-e-Mah is a sequel of the 2016 popular drama Sang-e-Mar Mar. The cast includes Nauman Ajaz, Sania Saeed, Atif Aslam, Kubra Khan, Hania Aamir, Zaviyar Ejaz and Mikaal Zulfiqar. The television release will be done on January 9 on Hum TV. The creators of the show are hopeful that the public will enjoy the content based on local culture.
The story revolves around a tribal setup and will showcase its traditional values. It will also talk about some sensitive topics that prevail in the rural areas of Pakistan.
