KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has announced a long march against the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) government in Sindh. The mass movement has been planned for February 26. PPP has already called for a march on Islamabad on February 27.

Federal Minister of Planning and Development Asad Umar, while addressing a press conference, said that the march would end the ‘Zardari mafia’. He added that in 2023 PTI would take charge of the Sindh provincial government. The minister said Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to end the bandit rule in Sindh, and every citizen of Sindh should unite against the corrupt government.

He further added that the agenda had been supported by former governor Mohammad Mian Soomro and two former chief ministers Arbab Ghulam Rahim & Ghaus Ali Shah.

Federal Minister of Marine Affairs, Ali Haider Zaidi briefed the details of the march according to which the movement would begin from Ghotki by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on February 26. The march will then enter Karachi on February 27 where a rally will be organised.
