ABU DHABI: On Sunday, Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett visited the United Arab Emirates, which marked the first official visit of an Israeli leader to the UAE.
According to the Israel Prime Minister’s Office, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, met Naftali on Monday, where they discussed regional and economical issues.
The two leaders talked about strengthening the relationship between the two states.
Both countries developed diplomatic ties last year. The Israeli prime minister’s spokesperson said that Bennett had termed the visit as a historic event. The meetup will strengthen the ties between the UAE and Israel.
