PM Imran to leave tomorrow for visit to China

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan will leave for a visit to China on Thursday. During the visit, the prime minister will meet President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqian along with attending Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.

The Foreign Office (FO) released a statement which said that PM Imran would be on a visit to China from February 3 to February 6, during which, he will meet senior government officials, Cabinet members, high-level delegation and Chinese leadership. It added that the meeting would commemorate 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The FO statement briefed that multiple agreements and memoranda will be signed during the visit. The prime minister will meet prominent business icons of China and representatives of academia, media and major Chinese thinktanks.
