Pakistan reports 43 Covid deaths in last 24 hours

Pakistan reports 48 deaths and over 6,000 Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: The latest Covid-19 numbers have been shared by the National Command and Operation Centre. Pakistan has reported 43 Covid related deaths in the last 24 hours.

According to a tweet by the NCOC, 41,744 were tested for the virus, of which, 1,232 returned with the result being positive. The Covid positivity rate stands at 2.95 per cent in the country at the moment.

The most number of cases was reported by Sindh, however, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported the most number of deaths. It is pertinent to mention here that the country has relaxed its mandatory negative PCR testing requirement for inbound fully vaccinated travellers.
