Pakistan reports 2,662 Covid cases in last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: During the last 24 hours, the Covid-19 positivity ratio stood at 5.6 per cent in Pakistan. Health authorities across the country tested 47,307 people which resulted in 2,662 positive cases.

According to the stats by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), Sindh reported the most number of cases with 994 and two deaths, followed by 968 Covid-19 positives and 17 deaths in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Punjab reported 459 coronavirus cases and eight deaths, while Azad Jammu & Kashmir had 116 cases and one casualty. The federal capital, Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan, collectively reported 125 cases and one death.

Meanwhile, the NCOC tweeted that 2,006,247 people have received vaccination against Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. The total vaccination numbers add up to 200,825,508.
