ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan announced on Sunday that an agreement to develop the Reko Diq mine had been reached after fighting the legal battle for 10 years.
In his tweet, Mr Khan stated that after the agreement with Barrick Gold for Reko Diq mine development, 8,000 jobs would be created and a 10-billion dollar investment would be done in Balochistan. He added that mine would be the world’s largest resource of copper and gold, driving the country in prosperity and development.

Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin said that from the total 50 per cent share of Pakistan, Balochistan would receive 25pc of the share.
