Pakistan reports less than 300 cases for fifth consecutive day

ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre has shared the latest update regarding the Covid condition in the country during the last 24 hours. According to the stats, of the 32,006 tests conducted, 270 tested positive. It is the fifth consecutive day when less than 300 cases came out positive.

The test positivity ratio stands at 0.84 per cent with critical cases dropping to 1085. During the last 24 hours, 10 patients died while battling the deadly disease.

The highest number of cases were reported from Punjab with 103, followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 86 cases. Both provinces also recorded four deaths each. Sindh reported 43 cases, while the federal capital reported 19 cases and one death reported from each.

Balochistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan reported 19 cases collectively, while no deaths were reported from these areas.
