I AM writing to express my concern about the rising inflation on Pakistan’s economy and the resulting negative impact it has on the common people. Inflation has increased poverty levels, causing many families to struggle to make ends meet, and it has also led to an increase in criminal activities.
The effects of inflation have been devastating for the ordinary citizens, who have to deal with the rising costs of food, housing, and other basic necessities. It has become extremely difficult for many to afford these necessities, and as a result, many have resorted to criminal activities such as stealing and robbery in order to survive.
The rise in criminal activities has made it unsafe for people to go out alone or with their families. There is a constant fear of being robbed or snatched. This has resulted in a sense of insecurity and fear among people, which is not conducive to a healthy and prosperous society.
The local government has taken some steps to fight crime, but these efforts have not been effective in curbing the rise in criminal activities. The police are often overworked and under-resourced, which makes it difficult for them to maintain law and order in the city.
Moreover, it is alarming to note that in some cases, when robbers are caught in the act of thieving, they are almost beaten to death by the angry mob. This is a clear indication of the frustration and anger that people are feeling due to the rising crime rate.
I urge the government to take urgent and effective measures to control inflation, which will help to alleviate poverty and reduce criminal activities. It is important that the government also take steps to increase the resources and capacity of the police force to ensure the safety and security of the citizens.
