ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has announced to allow 100 per cent crowds for the second leg games of the Pakistan Super League in Lahore from February 16. The Covid watchdog has also increased the crowd attendance to 50pc until Feb 15.
The NCOC had previously curtailed the crowd attendance to 25pc in Karachi due to the rapid spread of the virus. However, with things having improved relatively, the NCOC has decided to allow 50pc crowds until Feb 15 and 100pc from thereon till the end of the league.
It is, however, pertinent to mention that only fully vaccinated people would be allowed entry inside the stadium. The only exception on the vaccination applies to children aged below 12 who would now be allowed entry after Chairman Ramiz Raja had urged the NCOC to consider allowing the young fans inside the stadium.
The league will move to Lahore from February 10 where the second and final leg of the league will be played out.
