KARACHI: Sindh High Court has ordered to convert the Mohata Palace, also known as Qaser-e-Fatima into a medical-dental college here on Wednesday. The decision was made during the hearing of the case related to the steps to be taken for Fatima Jinnah’s belongings.
The court is said to be not happy with the current use of the location by the Sindh Cultural Department.
SHC is not satisfied with the activities that are taking place in the residence as it believes that the palace is being illegally used as a Trust. SHC remarked that it was ‘shameful’ what the Sindh Government was doing to the hospice of Madr-e-Millat.
