‘Khichdi: The Movie’ all set to return and make everyone laugh again

Popular actress of Prime Video’s show Four More Shots Please!, Kirti Kulhari, has confirmed her return as Parminder in the massive popular Indian sitcom-based movie, Khichdi. According to an Indian news agency, Kirti is super excited to reprise her role and to return on the sets of one of the most-watched 2000s comedies.

Kirti Kulhari confirmed the making of Khichdi: The Movie and said that it would be a hilarious ride. The actress said that over the years she has realised the huge fan-following Khichdi, especially among children and families. Parminder of Khichdi said that it would be lovely to work on the comedy genre again as she’s often asked about not doing comedy shows anymore.

The first installment of Khichdi: The Movie roamed around the relationship of Himanshu and Parminder. The movie had several intense humour situations. For instance, the courtroom drama where Hansa became the lawyer has a special fan base.

Similarly, the sequence where Himanshu tried to be a movie actor left the fans rolling with laughter.

Even the time when God comes to meet with the Parik family and was left in tears due to their foolishness amused the viewers. The situation tells the level of barminess each family member holds and how much fun every character can bring to the screen.

The movie series is based on popular sitcom Khichdi, Instant Khichdi and Khichdi Returns. The show used to air initially on Star Plus and then moved to another channel of the same brand, Star One – which closed after almost a decade.

The fans will also get to see Supriya Pathak, Rajeev Mehta, Jamnadas Majethia, Nimisha Vakharia, Anang Desai and Vandana Pathak in their trade mark characters. As usual Himanshu, Hansa, Babuji, and Praful will become the centre of attraction.
