MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor has landed in trouble. She tested positive for Covid-19, along with her friend Amrita Arora, after which the Baramati Municipal Council (BMC) sealed the former’s residency.

The prolific actress broke the news through her Instagram handle stating that she had quarantined herself and was following all the necessary protocols. She further stated that none of her family members had shown any symptoms and requested everyone to get vaccinated.

Right after the news, the BMC confirmed the reports and sealed Kareena’s house for not following social protocols and violating norms of the Covid-19.

According to the BMC, the actress and her friend had attended multiple parties without following the coronavirus restrictions, and have asked everyone who came in contact with them to get themselves tested.

Kareena’s representative said that both actresses didn’t attend a huge party but a small gathering. One person in the party seemed unwell and did cough a lot which put others at risk, adding that the person in question should have shown responsibility by not attending the party.
