India’s bowling attack was dealt a huge blow on Thursday when it was revealed that their ace fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is likely to be ruled out of the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.
According to media reports, Bumrah seems to be suffering from a serious back stress fracture and would take 4-6 weeks to recover fully. It is pertinent to mention here that according to the initial assessments, Bumrah might not need to undergo the surgical process.
With Bumrah’s likely absence from the squad, India might choose from Mohammed Shami, Axar Patel, and Mohammed Siraj to pair with Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya.
