CALIFORNIA: Instagram is working on the development of multiple new features. A new update is under development, which will enable the user to add moderators during the live video sessions.
The new feature will initially allow one moderator. The moderator will be able to manage all the comments and questions by viewers during the live video session.
The Instagram developers are also working on creating the ‘like’ option for the stories, where the viewers can like the story. Users will be able to see the number of likes alongside the view-count on their stories. A demo video of how the option will look was also released by the engineers working on the feature.
The updates are under development, and it will take some time before the final feature is rolled out to general users.
