First, Shireen Mazari announced quitting active politics and PTI due to health & family issues. Right after her announcement, Fayyaz Al Hassan Chohan decided to resign from the party.

Dr Shireen Mazari called a press conference right after her release and said that she condemns the events of May 9 & all kinds of violence. She added that attacking state institutions is more condemnable.
