Cases against Khan had been registered in Golra, Bara Kahu, Ramna, Khanna, and CTD police stations, linking him to the clashes that took place on March 18 outside the FJC. Khan’s counsel argues that the government wants to arrest Khan in a bid to further its plans of sidelining an or eliminating him completely from Pakistan politics.
Meanwhile, Shireen Mazari has accused the police of arresting “4 unarmed civilians without having committed any crime”. One of the civilians is said to be the official photographer of PTI who was with Khan on way to the Islamabad High Court.
These 4 unarmed civilians, one of whom is our official photographer, were with IK car on way to IHC & were arrested without having committed any crime & now apparently taken to Ramna police station. Then we are targeted for criticising the ICT police! pic.twitter.com/ox8oWOoMC5
