Famous playwright Khalilur Rehman Qamar shared an exciting update with fans on the much anticipated drama Main Manto Nahi Hoon. While giving an interview in Mazaq Raat to Wasay Chaudhry, Khalilur Rehman confirmed that Humayun Saeed would be playing the lead in the new project.
The drama has been facing delays on the production front for unknown reasons but is in the pipeline for release. Nadeem Baig, a known name in the entertainment industry, will be the director.
Regarding the question on a female lead, Khalilur Rehman Qamar in his unique way answered, “I’m not allowed to disclose the name of Saja Aly”. The reply left the audience in laughter. Earlier, there were speculations that Mehwish Hayat may join the project.
With the announcement of Humayun Saeed joining the project, fans are excited for the drama to release. Saeed has been focusing on films and would be great to see him making a return on the silver screen.
