Heatwave may hit Karachi between March 24 to 28

KARACHI: According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), a heatwave could hit Karachi during the ongoing month. The authority has also alerted local bodies to stay prepared for such a situation.

Between March 24 to 28, the temperature is expected to stay in the range of 36-38 degrees centigrade. The authorities concerned and the local bodies have been directed to stay on alert to deal with any untoward situation due to the heatwave.

Earlier, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) had forecasted hot weather in Karachi till Monday with humidity levels touching up to 30-40 per cent.
