According to Bollywood reports, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal have started shooting for Hera Pheri 3 at Empire Studios in Mumbai. The first glance of the shoot was released, in which fans saw the iconic group of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal.
Earlier, Akshay Kumar claimed that he will not be a part of the film’s sequel. Akshay’s statement made the fans very disappointed. But Shaam of Hera Pheri, aka Sunil Shetty, took the task of getting Akshay onboard. In his statement, Sunil Shetty said that Here Pheri cannot be made without Raju, Shaam and Babu Bhai. He took the responsibility of bringing Akshay Kumar back to the role of Raju.

Initially different Bollywood reports claimed that Indian actor Kartik Aryan would play the role of Raju instead of Akshay. However, the film’s producer, Feroze Nadiadwala, did not compromise on the casting. Now the original cast of the film will be seen again in this sequel, for which the fans are anxiously waiting.
Hera Pheri Series
Hera Pheri was first exhibited in 2000, in which Om Puri and Tabu played pivotal roles. The film was a remake of the Malayalam film Rami Rao Speaking. Six years later, in 2006, the sequel of the franchise was made with the title Phir Herapheri. Over the years, the trio of Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty became globally renowned for their characters. After 17 years, the team has re-united for the third instalment of the Hera Pheri series.
