Winter chills increased in different cities of Pakistan following the arrival of the first rain of winter. The winter drizzle dropped in different cities including Multan, Quetta and Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Cold winds blew in Karachi after snowfall in the upper regions of the country. The early morning drizzle decreased the pollution rate in Lahore and made the weather pleasant.
The rain caused inconvenience in Quetta as feeders tripped in several areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a chance of light to moderate rain & snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Mardan, Peshawar, Charsadda, Bajaur, Kurram, Waziristan, Kohat, Sargodha, Islamabad, Murree, and Potohar region.
There is also a chance of light rainfall in Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Bhakkar.
