Covid positivity rate seesaws; Pakistan reports 47 more deaths

Pakistan reports 17 deaths from Covid

ISLAMABAD: The seesaw of Covid-19 cases continues as Pakistan reported, during the past day, 3,914 cases compared to 4,253 previously. The positivity rate has also come down to 7.2 per cent.

As per the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 54,638 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours in Pakistan, of which, 3,914 came back positive. The NCOC also added that the country had reported 47 more Covid deaths, compared to 50 from a day earlier.

The number of patients on critical care stands at 1,716. Meanwhile, the NCOC has also announced that it had administered more than 190 million Covid-19 vaccines in the country so far.
