AZERBAIJAN: On the 30th anniversary of independence restoration in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Khazar Farhadov stated that Azerbaijan would stand firm with Pakistan on the Kashmir issue.
“Azerbaijan openly supports Pakistan on the Kashmir issue in accordance with the United Nations resolutions,” said the ambassador.
The event was attended by the National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, accompanied by foreign ambassadors of Turkey and the European Union.
“Pakistan has openly supported all the matters pertaining to Azerbaijan’s integrity,” said Qaiser.
He also condemned the barbaric activities of India in Kashmir and thanked the people of Azerbaijan who stood in support of the people of Kashmir.
“The solution to the Kashmir issue is only possible through the UN resolutions,” he said.
An agreement to promote trade and investment has also been signed by the parliaments of Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
