The anti-terrorism court of Islamabad has issued bailable arrest warrants for Chairman PTI Imran Khan and other important party leaders in the judicial complex attack case.
According to the details Imran had to face the consequences for not appearing in the anti-terrorism Court. The hearing against Chairman PTI on cases lodged in Ramna police station and Golra police station began today. The cases have been registered on the judicial complex attack.
Imran Khan’s lawyer filed a request for exemption from attendance. Lawyer Sardar Mafroof said that his client has to appear in Lahore High Court, so he could not come to Islamabad. On this request, Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain said that Chairman PTI would have to appear for the hearing. The court rejected the request for exemption from attendance and issued a bailable arrest warrant.
The court also issued arrest warrants for Shibli Faraz, Farrukh Habib, Hassan Niazi and other leaders in the judicial complex attack case. The court issued has summoned Imran Khan and other leaders in a personal capacity on July 19.
