KARACHI: PTI Chairperson and former prime minister Imran Khan has said there is an 80 per cent chance that he would be arrested again on Tuesday, May 22, 2023. He expressed the concern while giving an interview on CNN, and later, he also talked with Al-Jazeera to speak about the events amid his arrest earlier this month.
Imran said that the law and order situation has deteriorated in Pakistan and the entire leadership of PTI is in jail. The PTI chairman questioned how one could win by competing against own army and added that he firmly believes that Pakistan needs a strong defence system. However, he once again lashed out at former army leadership and said that during the last six months of the PTI government, the former army chief worked to remove him by claiming he was a danger to the country.

He alleged the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) of joining hands with the army and subverting the democratic system to make him obsolete. Imran said PDM is attempting to break his party. The former prime minister further added that hundreds of women & children are in jail, and now the government is attempting to lodge military court trials.
PTI chairman criticized Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and said that he is just a puppet. He once again asked his party workers to remain calm. According to Imran, there are over 150 cases lodged against him, and he could be arrested soon.
