A deadly shooting at a Texas elementary school saw 19 children getting killed on Wednesday. The 18-year-old gunman was killed on the spot by the law enforcement authorities. The shooting marks yet another tragedy in the dark chapter of US gun laws.
According to the details, two adults including a school teacher also died as a result of the shooting. Robb Elementary School, in a densely Latino populated area, was targetted by the shooter.
The motive is yet to be ascertained but it’s unlikely that it was racially motivated attack since the shooter himself belonged to the same community.
The shooter was identified as Salvador Ramos. According to the initial investigations, the shooter acted alone.
