Former President of Pakistan and the Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari has come out all guns blazing at former prime minister Imran Khan, calling him a “power-hungry man”.
The PPP’s official Twitter account sent out a series of tweets outlining what Zardari had to say regarding Khan. He said that the judiciary would have to see whether Khan was above the law and whether he could trample laws as per his liking.
He said that Khan was continuously attacking the institutions that were working to keep Pakistan’s integrity intact. He said that Khan was criticising the Pakistan Army while the army was busy fighting terrorists.

Khan has become very vocal against the military establishment whom he refers to as “neutrals”. Even though he has not named anyone directly, his followers believe that the establishment played a key role in his ouster from the government.
