The ongoing drama on Geo TV Hadsa has left the fans extremely disappointed. So much so, that the recently aired episode of the drama pushed female journalist Fariha Idris to raise her voice and request to stop the telecast of drama.
According to the details, the storyline of Hadsa is similar to the tragic accident that happened on the motorway. The fans slammed the creators of the drama for portraying the story of a victim for their views and TRP.
The Twitter post by Fareeha Idris stated that she received a call from the victim of the motorway accident (whom she identified as Z). Fariha stated that Z was in great pain and was crying a lot.
The journalist added that she felt ashamed and disappointed that the story of the play was based on such a sensitive subject just for viewership. She asked if the drama makers take permission from the victim on this sensitive topic.
Fareeha while narrating the words of the victim wrote:
“How could drama producers be so insensitive? Slowly as she kept on talking, my anger seethed at what was being done to her. Do the drama makers even realise what have they done to the poor victim? I had never seen her so openly talking about her traumatic experience before. “The moment the drama episode goes on air, all comments start talking about the motorway incident. Can’t they let me forget about this? They have followed my life. Isn’t this harassment? How did they trace things in my life when I was so clear about keeping everything so private? My in-laws must be watching it, my brother-in-law, my mother, my neighbours, oh my God! No one even cared to ask me. I am not dead yet! “
When the phone rang, I never expected this to be Z’s call. Z was the person whom I had spoken to a couple of years ago post her traumatic experience on motorway. Those were tumultuous times when everyone’s attention was focused on Z, while she was grappling to keep her sanity…

Responding to this Tweet, Hadiqa Kayani also issued an explanation on her social media account. The actress and singer wrote that she felt bad that her role hurt someone. She explained that when she got the role of Taksin, she asked whether it was related to the motorway tragedy.
Hadiqa, who actively takes part in community service activities, said she rejected to become part of any project that is based on someone’s true story. The actress added that after repeatedly talking to the team of drama and reading the script, she concluded that the Hadsa is not based on the motorway incident.
