The popular messaging platform WhatsApp has announced to start working on a new update that will not allow taking screenshots of media that are sent as ‘view once’.
CEO of Metaverse, the parent company of WhatsApp, had earlier announced to soon launch new updates regarding user privacy.
The new feature has a resemblance to Google Pay, where a user cannot take a screenshot. Similarly, some banking apps also disable screenshots. However, one should be aware that the feature does not work when a screen recorder is already turned on.
