Another mass shooting incident in the US killed two people and wounded five others. The horrific incident occurred outside Huguenot High School situated in Virginia – Richmond, where a crowd was gathered amid the school’s graduation ceremony.
Richmond Police Chief Rick Edward said that the suspect would be charged with two counts of second-degree murder. He added that the shooter had a dispute with just one person, and innocent people got caught up in the mayhem.

Among the deceased were two men, aged 18 & 36. The wounded include four males who are expected to survive aged 14, 32, 55 and 58, while one person, age 31, has suffered life-threatening injuries. In the chaos created due to the mass shooting, a nine-year-old girl got hit by a car.
The suspect was arrested while he tried to flee from the scene. The police confiscated four handguns from the possession of the shooter.
The United States has faced several mass shootings in schools, shopping centres and churches. A total of 279 incidents occurred in the initial 157 days of 2023.
