ISLAMABAD: Thai Airways has resumed its operations in Pakistan after two years by landing its flight TG-349, carrying 208 passengers, here at the Islamabad Airport. Later, the flight carried local passengers to Thailand.
Following the development, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has also restarted direct flights to Australia after the approval from the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority. The flight operations to Australia will reduce the travelling time as currently, it takes 34-35 hours to reach the home of Sydney Opera House.
