Security forces carried out a successful operation in the South Waziristan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and killed 11 terrorists. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces foiled a major terrorist operation in South Waziristan’s area of Wana.
A spokesperson of the Pakistan Army briefed that 11 terrorists, including two suicide bombers, were killed in cross-firing. Terrorist commander Hafeezullah Alias Hafiz was also killed in the operation.
In their statement, ISPR added that the slain terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces and targeted police officers in the South Waziristan district. ISPR also claimed that a huge amount of arms and ammunition were recovered from the custody of the dead terrorists.
