ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, while addressing a press conference here on Thursday, said that early elections remained a possibility, adding that switching loyalties won’t bring any fruitful results to the PTI turncoats.
“Turncoats must not forget that early elections could also be held,” Rashid was quoted as saying. He sounded very confident for the no-confidence voting, stating that “the prime minister won’t go anywhere”. Speaking of the opposition, he said that it was its constitutional right to stick to its decision.
Earlier, it was reported that Prime Minister Imran Khan was informed of the allies’ decision of joining the opposition, following which he has tasked the senior leadership of the party to mend ways with its allies.
