KARACHI: On Monday, the Supreme Court took back its decision to remove Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab from his position. The decision was retracted after the submission of ‘unconditional apology’ by the administrator.
The court also told Wahab to be unbiased while fulfilling his duties and not get influenced by any political affiliation and pressure.
Wahab was ordered to be removed by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Qazi Mohammad Amin. The directive came after the administrator and the bench indulged in arguments on multiple cases regarding encroachments, illegal construction, running of two private hospitals on amenity plots, and conversion of plots for residential purposes into commercial use.
