KARACHI: Former Pakistan skipper and Quetta Gladiators leader Sarfaraz Ahmed sent out a cryptic tweet on Wednesday in which he criticized ‘match-fixers’ for questioning his ‘intentions’. Even though, Sarfaraz did not name anyone, the Twitterati were quick to assume that the tweet was intended for Salman Butt.
Sarfaraz called out the unnamed match-fixer in his tweet, stating that it was hypocritic of the person to be lecturing others on intentions, when he, himself, sold out the country.
Pakistan ko on duty beachne wala fixer jub niyat pe bhashan dega phir to Allah he Hafiz hai .#justsying

The tweet, as expected, met with few people siding with Sarfaraz and others saying that it was completely unnecessary on his part to be tweeting such things midway of the tournament. Sarfaraz has been under fire from fans and certain sections of the media for his ‘over aggressive’ body language and attitude on the field.
