KARACHI: The US dollar continues to weaken the Pakistan rupee as the former is now trading at over Rs208 in the interbank market. Rupee has been on a slide against the US dollar.
According to the economic experts, the confusion regarding the revival of the bailout programme by the International Monetary Funds combined with fast-depleting foreign reserves has exacerbated the situation.
Dollar has gained 80 paisa compared to the yesterday’s rise of Rs1.45 on Thursday and Rs1.30 on Wednesday.
