ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik is currently fighting for his life after he was placed on ventilator following Covid related health complications. Malik had contracted the much-dreaded coronavirus two weeks ago.
According to Malik’s spokesperson Riaz Ahmad Turi, he was first placed in the intensive care unit but his condition did not improve. Malik had complained of breathing problems shortly after he caught the virus.
Turi said that the virus had attacked his lungs as well. Senator Sehar Kamran also prayed for speedy recovery of Malik and said that his condition was serious.
Prayers for speedy recovery, good health and long life of .@SenRehmanMalik sahib, he is now quite serious due to #Covid, admitted in ICU Shifa, currently on ventilator.
