In the presidential run-off elections in Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has once again secured victory as he is elected as the president for the next 5 years after the official announcement.
According to the chairman of the Turkish Supreme Election Council, Ahmet Yener, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was re-elected as the President of Turkey after receiving 52 per cent of the votes in the Turkish run-off election. His opponent, Kamal Kalchadaravu, received 48 per cent of the vote. The turnout in the Turkish elections was 87 per cent, with a total of 54 million voters using their right to vote. Celebrations have begun all over Turkey on the victory of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

After steeping into the third decade of power, Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his gratitude to the nation. He thanked the nation for putting their trust and giving him the responsibility of governing Turkey for the next five years. Tayyip Erdogan said that inflation is the biggest problem of the country at the moment, but it won’t be difficult for his party to steer the country out of crisis.
The International community, including heads of Muslim countries, congratulated Tayyip Erdogan on once again securing a convincing victory. President of the US Joe Biden, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Amir of Qatar Tamim Bin Hamad, Afghanistan Government, and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban extended best wishes to the president of Turkey.
