Pakistan’s Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has announced that the Ramadan moon has been sighted in Pakistan and the holy month is set to begin from tomorrow. Committee chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, while addressing a press conference, made the announcement.
The testimonies of the moon sighting were received from Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Swabi, Qila Saifullah and Mardan, according to the Committee chairman. The committee has unanimously decided that the first Roza will be observed tomorrow.
In the meantime, the Ramadan moon has not been sighted in India where Ramadan are scheduled to begin from Friday.
