ISLAMABAD: The public holiday schedule for the year 2022 has been released by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday.
The public holidays included in the notification were Kashmir Day: February 5, Pakistan Day: March 23, Labour Day: May 1, Eid-ul-Fitr: May 3-5, Eid-ul-Azha: July 10-12, Ashura: August 7-8, Independence Day: August 14, Eid Miladun Nabi PBUH: October 9, and Quaid-e-Azam Day: December 25.
The banking sectors will be closed for public dealing on July 01, 2022. The Muslim festivals will be subjected to the moon’s appearance.
Multiple private and public organisations have announced special events for February 5 to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day. The events will commence from Friday and continue till Saturday.
