On Tuesday, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) said that on April 21, the internet speeds would suffer across the country, remaining unusually slow.
According to PTA, a section of SMW4A (international submarine cable) needs a power reconfiguration. The statement added that the process would start at 2:00am and continue till 7:00am. Due to the reconfiguration, many users would experience slow internet service.
PTA said that they would use alternative options to continue the service and ensure a quick restoration of the internet.
