LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced a ‘decisive movement’ against the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) led government from January 5, 2022. He was speaking to the party workers here on Monday at the 14th death anniversary of his mother and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
Bilawal said that the time to wage the war against the ‘puppet regime’ had come. The movement will start with a rally in Lahore next Wednesday. He talked about the need to revive the PPP all over the country in order to reestablish the rule of democracy in Pakistan.
Bilawal attributed the high inflation to bad governance which, according to him, was a direct result of the rigging in the 2018 general elections. He said that the country did not only lack freedom of speech, but it also didn’t have democracy, both of which, according to him, were restored by the PPP in the form of 18th Amendment.
Bilawal said that the unemployment and ever-surging inflation in the country would not end until the puppet rulers are at the helm of the affairs. He also said that only PPP could get rid of the PTI government. He said that the PTI will be taken to cleaners at the very same location [Lahore] where its foundation was laid on.
