LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) has announced to part ways with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and to launch its campaign for the next elections.
In a meeting, attended by federal ministers, and presided by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, it was decided that PML-Q would no longer work in alliance with the PTI. According to PML-Q, it has supported the PTI government in every manner but the rise in inflation, increasing crime rate, and unemployment were the major issues which the government failed to address.
Earlier the party had reservations over the mistreatment of its workers as the government did not include them in any decision-making process.
“We have been supporting them [the government] in the Centre and Punjab for the past three years but the provincial government is mistreating our workers in every district,” said the chairman PML-Q.
