RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa landed in Naushki on Tuesday – few days after the camps of security personnel in Naushki and Panjgur were attacked by terrorists. Nine security personnel were martyred in the cowardly attacks.
According to the media wing of the armed forces – the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the prime minister and Army chief will be briefed about the security situation in the area. Gen Bajwa will spend a day with troops who had repulsed the attack last week.
The two would also meet the elders of the local tribal areas. The prime minister is also expected to meet the chief minister and governor of Balochistan in Quetta.
