The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leadership took to Twitter to express its disapproval of what it called “fascism”. One of the key PTI leaders, Hammad Azhar, shared a screenshot of a call log on Twitter, claiming that the pilots who fly the party chief Imran Khan to jalsas were being threatened.
He added that such antics would not be able to save the “spiralling inflation” and the “sinking economy”.

Another key-member Asad Umar also tweeted along the same lines and criticised the government and the establishment without naming anyone in his tweet.
Pilot flying @ImranKhanPTI for the jalsas getting phone calls and being given threats. How low will they sink!!! #PakistanUnderFascism

It is pertinent to mention here that the PTI leadership and the military establishment are at loggerheads with each other. While the PTI has refrained from criticising the institution directly, it has insinuated on many occasions the involvement of the establishment in the ouster of the Khan government.
